Kingdom of Fish

The Imperial Kingdom of Fish, commonly known as Fish (/Fi-sh/) was a casual and friendly building focused nation located mainly in the North-Eastern (+-) with the exceptions being the cities of Kraken, located in the South East (+ +) and Nymph, located in the South West (- +) sides of CivClassics. it was preceded by The Kingdom of Wyvern, which in it self was preceded by Nymph and Kraken. It a successor state of the Kingdom of Wyvern/Nymph-Kraken and was formed on the 2nd of June, it aimed to be a very friendly and casual buildfriend nation and place for its citizens to relax in a casual environment. It was made due to Wyvern citizens wanting a new nation on CivClassics after the shutdown of CivUniverse and as such is mainly made up of Wyvern and Nymph Citizens, though they of course welcomed any new people and visitors. Fish culture is very similar to Wyvern culture and as such Melons are considered a holy item to the Fish folk.

Imperial Goverment

Formerly a dual monarchy with the__druid as its empress and Seekinq as its emperor before the__druid got kicked out, it is now solely ruled by Emperor Seekinq who served as King of Nymph-Kraken and for a small time the King of Wyvern. Fish is split between the Western Isles, 2 small farming islands which hosts the Fish potato farm, The Greater Cora Area, which serves as the Imperial Capital, The Imperial Peninsula, which is the region directly outside of Cora which is home to many houses and farms, The Goldfish Territory and the Axolotl Territory, two easten territories home to vast forests, and the Catfish territory, a northern territory home to a bay which will be home to a future town. As well as governing the Fish mainland the Imperial Kingdom also governs the old cities of Nymph, a victorian style city located in the South West (- +) side of the map, and Kraken, a very old medieval themed city built on the first few months of the server in 2017 located in the South East ( + + ) side of the map,

Emperor

When fish was founded it was a dual monarchy shared between the__druid and Seekinq however following the__druid getting kicked from Fish and pearled they were stripped of their rank and Seekinq assumed full control, Seekinq served as King of Nymph and the 1st King of Wyvern before founding Fish, while the__druid was a new player only joining during CivUniverse before moving to CivClassics. After Fish integrated its old territories of Nymph and Kraken Seekinq became Emperor of Fish, Kraken and Nymph

Fish Mainland

Fish is located in the North Eastern side of the map East of Acadia and West of Nipplerock, Cora, the Capital is located on some Islands bordered by the Bay of Cora to the North and the Sea of Fish to the South this area is named "The Greater Cora Area" and is just South of the Imperial Peninsula, a Peninsula on the side of the Mainland which is home to many fields and houses as well as the Temple on the edge of the Peninsula, where the original Fish settlers first set up camp. To the north of the Imperial Peninsula is the Sea of Melons and to the South is the Sea of Fish, there is also the Bay of Trent cutting into the Peninsula near the Mainland, to the East of the Imperial Peninsula is the Mainland of the Small Continent Fish is located on and is made up of the Gold Fish and Axolotl Territories, with the Bay of Sakana in the South and the Canal of Sakana at the end of the Bay connecting it to the Nipplerock Sea which borders the entire Eastern Coast of the Mainland, to the North West of the Axolotl Territory it also has a coastline along the Sea of Melons, with sprawling vineyards going up the coast. to the West of the Imperial Peninsula is the Western Isles of Shrimp Isle, Bass Isle, and the Rainbow Trout Archipelago in the Sea of Melon.

Nymph

Nymph is located in the South West ( - +) side of the map, almost opposite of the mainland, most of Nymph is in valleys of plains surrounded by massive cliffs. Nymph city in located in the very west side of the Nymph territory and is the most western point of the Imperial Kingdom, In the middle of the Nymph Territory is the Nymph Farms, vast fields of farmland and on the very east side of the Nymph territory is a deep valley filled with mushroom houses. Nymph borders the Commonwealth to the north and Southshire to the east.

Kraken

Kraken is located in the South East ( + + ) side of the map, almost directly south of the mainland and is filled with many lush forests and jungles filled with vines with many coves and bays along the coast, the old town of Kraken is on the very north coast in a bay surrounded by hills with structures carved into them, south of the old town is the City of Serpent, a wooden town on the coast. Across the sea from Serpent is an island that is home to many tree farms and south of the main Kraken territory is the Castle of Verona across the sea surrounded by mountains on all sides. Kraken borders Nro'Meagh to the west.

Before Fish | April 23th - June 2nd |

Following the shutdown of CivUniverse Wyvern, previously known as Nymph-Kraken on CivClassic was looking for a place to play again, after some consideration on the 2nd of June Seekinq, Duke of Wyvern along with the__druid, a Plexian friend on CivUniverse decided to return to CivClassic, they originally tried to settle on some islands of the coast of Nymph in the - + that used to belong to them without realizing that during the time since Nymph was active those islands had been taken by the IMC, they were swiftly told those islands were claimed and after some talks with IMC they decided to move up to the + - near Wyvern's old allies of Acadia, who had told them about alot of unclaimed land up in that region.

Early Fish History | June 2nd - October 10th |

Seekinq arrived at some land which would later become the Imperial Peninsula, this site would later become home to a temple that celebrates the founding of the Kingdom of Fish, shortly after arriving here on the 2nd of June Seekinq announced in the Wyvern discord and on the CivClassics subreddit that they had founded a new nation on CivClassics to chill on over the summer, construction shortly began on the Imperial Capital, Cora. On the 11th of June this was posted to the CivClassics subreddit On the 16th of June Fish signed a friendship treaty with Acadia. On the 17th of June Fish would expand its claims adding the Axolotl, Goldfish, Bettafish and the Western Isles to its claims. On the 20th of June fish announced its first Fish Fesitval for the 9th of July with big rewards.

1st Fish Festival Prizes

• Druid won 1st place in the Tournament, winning a Prot Set, Fish Banner and the Tournament Gold Medal.
• Seekinq won 2nd place in the Tournament, winning 32 diamonds, Fish Banner and the Tournament Iron Medal. Seekinq refused his diamond prize and they were instead given to SirFrenchie in third place.
• SirFrenchie got 3rd place in the Tournament, Winning 64 iron, the Tournament Stone Medal and the 32 diamonds from 2nd place.

Cortwade also won the Pig Racing as well as SirFrenchie winning the parkour. On the 1st of July Fish signed an alliance treaty with Acadia. On the 12th of July the__druid and JayTeeR were kicked out of Fish for alt raiding, with the Empress being kicked from the nation Seekinq took full control of the nation as its sole Emperor and put the full focus of the kingdom into building, many buildings in Cora appeared at this time and the city was nearing a completed state, the rest of the summer was mostly spent building both Cora and the Imperial Peninsula up, many flower fields were built along the Peninsula during this time. on the 29th of July Fish signed a friendship treaty with Vestlige and on the 12th of August joined the Plus-Minus Concordat with Acadia, Mythril, City of England and Sussex, with Kallos and Jomsviking joining later. On the 4th of September the Bettafish Territory was transfered to East Columbia.

Fish Golden Era | October 10th - December 11th |

On October 10th the first ship of the Imperial Fish Navy was constructed, the IFS Serpent is the biggest ship in the Imperial Navy and is stationed in Cora. shortly after this the IFS Kraken was built as well, a smaller ship also stationed in Cora. The Market Square was also completed around this time and served as the economic hub for the Kingdom. During this time Fish's claims were once again updated to include the new Catfish territory. which saw the old Empress the__druid rejoining as a citizen in the new territory. Fish also celebrated Halloween posting this to the subreddit. On the 13th of November Fish officially integrated the old territories of Nymph and Kraken into the Imperial Kingdom with reduced claims, this saw Seekinq become Emperor of Fish, Kraken and Nymph and the disolution of the Borough of Nymph-Kraken in the Commonwealth and officially unified all 3 nations into a single nation. On the 20th of November the 2nd Fish Festival was announced which was the biggest event ever held in Fish. Featuring Boat Racing, Hide and Seek, Tournament, Pig Racing and Parkour. Seeing lots of players from all across the map visiting and saw the following win each game:

The 2nd Fish Festival was considered a great success and remains the largest event held in Fish, Kraken, Wyvern or Nymph so far. After the festival ended Nebula was pearled on the Melon Road which passed under East Columbia. On the 22nd of November Fish officially withdrew from the Plus-Minus Concordat following the Jomsviking - City of England Incident. Shortly after the collapse of the Plus-Minus Concordat Fish signed a friendship treaty with the City of England. On the 26th of November Fish completed it first ice road stretching 4.5k blocks to the south to the Colony of Alexmelons. On the 1st of December Fish joined the new United Northern Congress and remained in it until the end of the world. On the 5th of December the Christmas Decorations went up in Cora with a snowstorm arriving and covering the city in snow. On the 11th of December Seekinq made a statement regarding the End of the World.

Culture

Much of Fish's culture was carried over from Wyvern during the migration over to CivClassics, this Includes the love for Melons, as such Melonism is considered the state religion of the Kingdom, and Melons are considered a very important holy item to Fish folk. Fish folk will often greet other Fish folk and Vistors by throwing them some Fishy Melons, with a few Fish spreading them around the map with Gift Boxes in a few nations filled with Melons and other Fish Goodies. Aside from Melons, Fish is very focused on a casual and chill buldfriend environment.

Holidays

They celebrate the Fishy Melon Festival from May 1st to the 7th, with people coming from even the otherside of the map to visit for it

They celebrate national pig day on the 8th of July.
