The City of England, commonly known as England, was a nation located at 800, -5800 comprising of a mainland, and several islands. At approximately 1 square km, it was a moderately sized nation on CivClassics. The capital was also called the City of England, where all of the nation's residents lived.
Government
Citizen Roles
At its founding, the City of England was an Oligarchy but as of January 2020, the official government became libertarian. The King ruled over the lands but anyone was welcome to settle and use the City of England's lands with minimal government intervention. Geography
The City of England is located at 800, -5800 comprising of a mainland, and several islands. At approximately 1 square km, it is a moderately sized nation on CivClassics. The Capital is located on a sunflower plains biome. Other local biomes include mesa & desert biome to the West; dark oak forest to the North East; river & mesa to the north; spruce forest mountain and a nether island to the East; small bay, and savannah to the South, and a mesa island to the South West. A mushroom biome to the far north, located at 700, -8300, is also under the City of England's control.
Capital
The capital of the City of England is the City of England. The city's landmark feature is the castle which contains several towers and various crypts and chambers. Pat's brewery is a great place for visitors to enjoy spoiled beer and disgusting wine. The Castle looms over the rest of the city which is surrounded by very secure defensive walls. These walls have never been penetrated by hostile forces. Glorious fields containing the majority of the nation's crops sprawl beyond the city walls.

Fort Beak
Fort Beak is a massive Coliseum-like structure built over a Hell Island and contains many tunnels and hallways that go through it.
Spoopy Forest
The Spoopy Forest is one of England's most famous landmarks next to the capital city itself. Its situated directly west of the city and goes up to the sky limit. It is essentially a massive tower of fully grown Acacia trees that was built back in 2018. It's tall enough that you can see it perfectly from the capital city.

To the far east portion of the mainland, there is East Port. A large market area along with many docks perfect for international trading and a great place to take a rest from travelling. It even comes with a massive ship, and who doesn't like massive ships?

The Cactus Mart is an insanely large cactus farm situated right next to Spoopy Forest and has enough Cactus to supply the nation for decades.

Internal rails were added in December 2019 to expedite travel within the City of England borders.
History
Early Beginnings
Originally spawned in the vast, uninhabitable, snowy mountains of the (-,-), the 5 original founders of the City of England traveled east to find a collection of biomes close to each other suitable for efficient EXP production. The capital's castle was started circa August 2017 in the sunflower plains biome at (+800,-5800). The early economy included setting up a small wheat farm west of the castle, mining for iron, and trading horses with the inhabitants who lived in the north part of the sunflower plains. In the late months of 2017 and early 2018, the City of England's economy started to boom when the entirety of the sunflower plains was flattened for farming. A moderately sized automatic cactus farm was also constructed in the mesa biome to the West and an automatic mushroom farm construction was started to the far North. Many of the original crops are still being grown today. These crops include wheat, melons, carrots, cactus, oak saplings, roses, mushrooms, and vines.
Deep Slumber
The City of England's population dwindled to approximately 0 when the 5 original founders took a 1.5 year-long dirt nap. The economy was halted to a stand-still and the area was crayon claimed by SPQR shortly after. The vault hole that the City of England dug was claimed over by a one ODJ_ around October 2019. Many of the City of England's resources were claimed-over and reinforced by SPQR but were promptly taken back by the City of England without any resistance when the founders returned.
The Phoenix Rises
Circa June 2019, the City of England was reborn when three of the original five founders emerged from their deep slumbers. Clean up of random vandalism took no longer than 1 day. Shortly after the nation was brought back up to functional status, the king GatorGlitch posted the nation's first official claims.
An Era Of Tranquility

A New Horizon
After a territorial dispute with Jomsviking Confederation occured, also known as the Jomsviking-England Incident, a new era emerged when LIQUID STEREO, who had been given citizenship a couple of weeks prior for helping deny a dereliction on England, vowed to prove that City of England was active and capable. The Kings then opened up citizen applications for the first time since its founding and gave LIQUID permission to accept applications. After a nation advertisement was made, over 10 people had become citizens of England. This also included new government positions, such as Minister of Truth, which was given to LIQUID, and Duchess, which was fittingly given to duchessruby. To this day, City of England is thriving in activity is more alive than it has ever been.
