The Inter-dimensional Council of Ricks

The Inter-dimensional Council of Ricks (ICOR) primary territory is located in the northern-central mountain range of the main continent, primarily in the forest biome. ICOR is west of Amaryllis, north/north-west of La Commune d'Athena, and south/south-east of Moloka. We are a fairly low population nation of approximately 7 active players, however we have recently increased our recruitment efforts and are looking forward to a population influx. ICOR was founded in mid-to-late September, 2019.

Everyone is welcome to join our Nation's discord.

Namesake

The nation's namesake lies in the founders' profound enjoyment of the 2013 TV series Rick and Morty.

Morty, you gotta flip 'em off. I told them it means 'peace among worlds.' How hilarious is that?! — Rick Sanchez

Cities & Settlements

The Inter-dimensional Council of Ricks' Map Claim

The Citadel of Ricks is the capital of ICOR. It is located around 2530, -7130. The Citadel is at the heart of ICOR territorial claims and is nestled in a large valley of the snow-capped mountain range that cuts through ICOR's claim. The Citadel has been developed around a small, meandering tributary that flows south into the main river that is central to the main continent.

Hallstatt is the southern settlement of ICOR. We google'd random city names until we found a cool one, so its a total rip off. Fight us, Austria. Hallstatt is home to ICOR's primary farming efforts.

Morty Town is the northern settlement of ICOR. It is our newest addition to our claim, and thus the most undeveloped. Morty Town will begin serious development once ICOR sees a stable population increase of active players.

Government

ICOR has an oligarchy style government that will consist of seven total council members when fully instantiated. Three of these council members will be permanent seats granted to the founders of The Inter-dimensional Council of Ricks. The other four council members will be held by elected citizens of the nation. Elections will be held quarterly.

  1. Founder: flexional_mc
  2. Founder: ___parallax___
  3. Founder: JFSimmmns
  4. Remaining council seats will be filled at a future date when a larger population exists to elect members from.

In addition to the seven Council members, the following positions will be held by citizens of the Nation. These positions and the Council Member position are NOT mutually exclusive.

  1. Administrator of Transportation
  2. Administrator of Economics
  3. Administrator of National Security
  4. Administrator of Domestic Security
  5. Administrator of Foreign Affairs
  6. Administrator of Development
  7. Administrator of the Interior

Foreign Affairs

As of the current revision of this document, ICOR has no official allies, enemies, or other foreign agreements/disagreements. We are friendly and welcoming to anyone and everyone looking to have amicable relations with us.

Building Style & Restrictions

ICOR seeks to preserve the natural and original landscape as best as possible, whenever possible. We prefer that our cities and settlements blend and flow with the land as much as possible to maintain all players' immersion in any particular biome within our claim. Because of this, we ask new citizens to respect the following two building rules:

  1. No major terraforming/flattening
  2. No cutting down trees within our main valleys (especially the dark oak trees). We have tree farms if you need wood!
