Resimere (formerly Resimare) is a barony originally founded in Devoted by CallMeBur, and lead by Mister_Minesalot. Set in an archipelago, Resimere consists of six island regions in the -,+: Ankara, Eichenfeld, East and West Vale, Gingko Island, and the Cloud Islands. The capital region, Ankara, was given to Resimere by Vale at the beginning of its time on CivClassic. It is an autonomous town of Yoahtl, enjoying the protection and infrastructure of the mainland.

Resimere is inherently industrious and highly values land development, driven by the lack of industry and an economy early on as well as the plentiful biomes that are featured within its borders.
The nation follows a general rule of making the most use out of every piece of land they have - even small coastal islands are converted into small sugar cane farms. The underground is scoured for spawners to create mob grinders. Little non-production related buildings are built outside of the capital. New land is only claimed if there is nothing left to develop, or if there is valuable farmland nearby. Overall, Resimere is naturally industrious, and plays tall, not wide.

The town has one land border with Airhaven and two water borders with Falstadt and Stonewall.

Resimere's history is one filled with plenty of honeyed words, mistakes, and civil strife. Despite all of the hardships that came it's way, it still continues to operate to this day, analyzing it's past mistakes and fixing them. Despite being relatively young compared to other nations on the server, it still has quite the history behind it.

After the acquirement of Eichenfeld and multiple important resources, everything seemed like it could only get better for the Resimarians. However, this was the exact opposite of what happened. Activity began to flounder as the end of summer approached, and soon, Resimare would enter its Dark Age.

A new leader, name change, and the Divide
Age of the Phoenix
Despite Resimare's newfound non-autonomous township to a major nearby nation, the town was still in an inactivity crisis. Shortly after the declaration was made, Mister_Minesalot, the player who arranged the township deal with Yoahtl, confronted CallMeBur, the original founder and leader of Resimare. Minesalot declared that Resimare under Bur's rule was not working out, and that leadership needed to change soon or else the town would fall entirely. A long argument ensued between both of the sides, and eventually an agreement was reached that the land would be turned over to Minesalot if the name was changed from Resimare. Minesalot complied, however, only by changing one letter and turned it into Resimere. This was still satisfactory for Bur, and leadership was officially granted to Minesalot. After this, Bur and RedTourmaline, some of the few citizens that still logged in (albeit rarely), left the town and fully joined Mir, thus effectively splitting the mostly inactive population in half.

Demolition of Ankara
City Planning Reformations
A plan that had been conceived after Mister_Minesalot's ascendance to ruler of Resimere, it would completely destroy nearly all constructions within Ankara. Houses, pathways, roads, and even lamp posts would be torn out to make room for a better city. After visiting New Yoahtl City, Minesalot believed the Valley Age architecture and urban planning methods to be extremely inefficient, and even what caused the Dark Age to begin with, as the slowly encroaching controlled urbanization left the citizens no reason to build anything of their own or anything that they cared about.

Modernization of Resimere
Multiple attempts were made to enact the plan, but all of the population excluding Minesalot could not be present most of the time, as they all had very busy lives of their own. One day, however, Minesalot recruited a new player named Loungebob to the dying island town. Naturally dedicated, enjoying grinding, and with plenty of time to spare, they were the perfect person to enact the demolition Minesalot longed for. On July 13th, 2018, the destruction had begun. Using tools provided by Yoahtlan citizens and government officials, the demolition went smoothly, and by July 16th, 2018, nearly all of the Department of Architecture's urbanization was removed.

Politics
The island of Ankara, in a stark contrast to Eichenfeld, is naturally quite heated due to being half-nether.

Eichenfeld
Foreign Relations
Eichenfeld's forest region is fairly cold, having frequent drafts down from the mountains that surround it. The mountains themselves are extremely cold and prone to snowfall. Despite this, trees and flora are abundant within the forests.

Flora
Yoahtl
Resimere's relationship with their overlord country of Yoahtl is fairly stable, with Resimere remaining a subject of Yoahtl for at least a year. However, some culture differences have caused occasional unrest among the Resimerian populace in the past. A common grievance within the country is the perceived lack of caring and support for regions outside of New Yoahtl City, Yoahtl's capital. As such, Resimere prefers to trade and converse with provinces outside of the capital, viewing them as more welcoming and friendly.

Ankara
Airhaven
While Airhaven is no longer present within the server in any substantial way and as such there are no current relations, relations between the countries have historically been pleasant, with Airhaven gifting the province of Eichenfeld to Resimere in the latter's early history. Despite the lack of Airhaven claims in current times, Resimere still respects the previous stated borders and laws of the country.
Ankara's main region is a dark oak forest, meaning many different types of flora grow in the area. Included within the forest are dark oak trees, oak trees, birch trees, roses, peonies, lilacs, and poppies. Nothing except netherwart and glowstone trees are present within Ankara's nether.

Eichenfeld
Southshire
The relationship between Southshire and Resimere is not particularly deep, however the two countries are friendly towards each other, with Southshire allowing Resimere to use their factories in the event that a Resimerian one has broken down. Resimere also sells many goods to Southshire, transporting them via the Ankara-Southshire rail.
The dense forests of Eichenfeld feature large canopy oak trees, shrubs, and ferns, which cause many issues regarding mobs. Eichenfeld's mountains have very sparse oak trees.

Experience Industry
Experience production is one of the most important sources of Resimere's income. Following the expansion into Vale territory, multiple large scale farms were constructed among the varied biomes, giving Resimere everything required to create experience. Due to lootings during the Age of Hibernation, the Resimerian experience industry is currently not operating, causing a massive blow to the country's income.

Logging
Logging is also a valued source of income to Resimere, as the multiple tree farms scattered across the country have been botted for many months and sold on various markets. Logging has been frequently used to recover lost funds after raids.

Mining
The Resimerian mining industry used to be an important and prevalent aspect of Resimere's economy until the annexation of Vale, in which the drastic rise in crop and experience production caused mining to phase out of the national income. Draining of local diamond veins by enterprising mainland Yoahtlan miners has also severely stunted the industry. Now, mining only happens when building materials run out, or if an underground expansion is under construction.

Agriculture
Direct selling of crops to foreign experience markets has also been fruitful, the main market being the Yoahtlan XP Exchange. Though in modern times, most crops are used for experience production or are sold in Resimerian stores across the map. Much of the farmland for crops (not including wheat) are reserved for government members and workers, although some farmland is available for citizen use.

Infrastructure
Transportation
Resimere often excavates railroads to neighboring friendly countries in order to tie the quadrant closer together and to provide easier access to foreign markets. Although the digging crew usually consists of one person at a time, work ethic causes the rails to be finished quickly. Resimere also features many internal railroads between its islands, although the only station that is currently open to the public is in Ankara.

Agricultural infrastructure in Resimere is colossal and plentiful, as well as efficient. Many islands are filled to the brim with large tiered farms producing many different crops in order to supply Resimere's experience industry. Constant agricultural research ensures that Resimerian farms are up to date and are as productive as possible.

Foreign Relations
Currently, Resimere is friends with Airhaven and is an autonomous town of Yoahtl. Its standings with Vale, the town directly south of the capital, are extremely varied, ranging from war to semi-friendly. Resimere once had a deep friendship with Mir due to relations from Devoted, however this friendship ceased to be after the Divide.

Graveyards are Resimere's way to memorialize citizens who no longer play. Citizens are typically buried with one gold nugget in each of their coffins, as a sign of good luck outside of the server. Disturbing the graves is highly illegal, and is punishable by a fine of 3 iron per grave.
