History

The majority of the SWITS was dug by one person, Massimen, from Other, the capital of Hyperborea, to Tortuga, the island exclave. This original route was built and opened by 17 June, 2022. The next segment of the SWITS was connecting Tortuga to the Hyperborean Nether Portal, which was originally separated from the Tortuga-Other line. This line was built by Poortea, under the alias of NetherPearled at the time. Shortly after this he was banned. FE_Flags then built the lines connecting the Lewis Islands to the Novo Sanjaro desert claim, and shortly after connected it to the portal line. Several junctions were built, and reconstructed by SpacemanSpleef to enable easier use of the SWITS, although it is still unreliable sometimes. The first True OneDest compatible junction was built by SpacemanSpleef on 4th August 2022

The SWITS was named by SpacemanSpleef and FE_Flags on 1st August, 2022. The name took inspiration from HITS, and SpacemanSpleef plans on making it OneDest compatible after more construction.
