Battle of Eddie Murphy

The Battle of Eddie Murphy Tech is an ongoing conflict around the Eddie Murphy Tech Isles, between a coalition of the CES and several other nations including fighters from the AF, Entente Mir, UDF, and several allied nations against a company founded in Eddie Murphy, Eddie Murphy Tech. It began on the 21st of November (UTC).

Pre-Conflict

The player Zenos11 joined EM, and was joined by their friends Nust0ni and MagistramJWilli. The three proceeded to build three different bunkers and were geared by EM, who reportedly believed that they were just extremely competent newfriends. The player MagistramJWilli attacked Amyr at 4:48 PM EST, 11-20-21 when they pinged dozens of New Moon snitches and sent everyone pings to the entire CES. WNS2 promptly logged on and upon seeing MagistramJWilli in full combat gear apologized and then attacked. MagistramJWilli, who was well prepared for the fight, cut WNS2 off from the New Moon skybunker, and when WNS2 attempted to fly back with elytra (which failed because he was combat tagged) WNS2 was killed. Peace negotiations with Oko reached the agreement that the player would remained logged off for one week and return the items at the end of the week. No pearl time would be served. WNS2 was strongly of the opinion that they were likely an alt, while Oko and EM still believed them to be newfriends, although they were growing more dubious.

Betrayal

The agreement brokered between Oko and WNS2 was broken at 2:53 AM 10-21-21 when MagistramJWilli logged on and for a couple minutes. WNS2 was prepared to let it slide, but they logged on again at 2:74 PM EST for the main assult on Amyr.

Conflict

The conflict started when FKA Twink engaged MagistramJWilli on the account FourMoreYearks. As they kited to Amyr, WNS2 set up a VC in the AF-CES alliance, which was joined by the players Nebulandd and Yodabird. As word of the conflict spread and other friends of WNS2 (and later just people who wanted to pvp) joined Amyr, it quickly became clear that the AF-CES discord would not be a feasible communications platform for the joint defense. WNS2 moved the communications to the Amyr discord to the extent possible, and while most people eventually joined it following some minor technical difficulties, the MAC continued to run their own VC for the purposes of an actually competent defenses.
