The Municipality of Tortugán was an equatorial nation state located in Karydia on CivMC and founded on June 3rd, 2023. Throughout its history Tortugán existed as both a sovereign nation and as a region of another nation, having been an Icenian state and a Kaowtan state. On 10 July 2024, Tortugán was amicably annexed by Mercutio, becoming the Tortugán Riviera. The region was named for its wealth of turtles, and is home to various shops, factories, and apartments.
