The Mercurial Market States (also known as Mercury) was a minarchist nation on CivMC that was founded soon after the server's launch to the west in the Karydia region.[1] Mercury had a heavy emphasis on personal freedoms and free markets. In October 2022 the last remaining member SomeoneOk handed over control to New Sovia, instead of keeping the land LiquidStereo announced the dissolution of Mercury, intending the newly freed land for new nations.[2]
