The Burgraviate of Neubergburg was a sovereign state on CivMC. It was located on Northlandia, in the deep -,-.

History

The country was a continuation of the previous state of Bergburg after circumstances led to an exodus from Impendia: The Great Burgtrek. Neubergburg negotiated a solution to a claims dispute with the Boreal Federation in late October 2022. It also claimed the eastern portion of the former nation of Bagalor at the same time.

On of Feburary 5th, 2023, Neubergburg's borders were closed to non-citzens. The Bagalor train station was boarded up as a result. This status was due to attempted incursion by hostile Fempire operatives, who left death threats and spurious accusation of fascism all over the country's capitol.

On March 6th, 2023, Zelmisburg quit the Civ genre for good, as he considered it impossible to continue playing with the constant threat of permapearl and a mutual disdain for what few remained of the Civ community. He ceded the lands to fellow muridae enthusiasts, the Great Thrall Clan. He then went to the north pole and ascended beyond the firmanent.

One of several death threats scattered throughout Neubergburg during the February incursion.

Geography

Neubergburg was mainly mountainous and taiga biomes. A long river (dubbed the Donau River) ran through much of the territory, and gave the nation an outlet to the ocean. The nation's neighbors were Winterbourne to the east, the Temporal Isles to the south, and DonFuer to the west and north. It had rails connections (now boarded up) to Nassau and what was formerly Ocala.
