Metriximor asked the AF to make reforms or reconsider the AF-CES alliance alltogether, the AF in turn put up to vote asking the CES a voluntary pearling of Yodabird as punishment, however the vote failed. Due to this event and also a few minor events in the past that had compounded, the Lusitan government voted unanimously to leave the AF after Metriximor proposed it.

The Augustan Federation was an international alliance on CivClassic 2.0 that consisted of Mount Augustan successor states and nations with Augustan cultural heritage. Federation members were divided into two tiers of membership, the Council, a mutual defense alliance, and Associates States (formerly Consortium) that benefited from a wider economic alliance.[1]

History

Following Mount Augusta's inactivity and the posterior creation of Mount September and South Augusta, the need for an international organ that grouped Augustan successor states together became more and more apparent. Drafts for the charter of a proto-augustan union began to be made in early 2021.

Following the Confederation of Socialist Augusta's admission to the Augustan Council on March 2021, all augustan successor states were part of the Augustan Federation. The Augustan Council elected squareblob its first President that same month. However, the expulsion of South Augusta from the Augustan Federation marked the end of the alliance between all of former Mount Augusta.[2]

Expelled

South Augusta

A founding member of the Federation, South Augusta was expelled from the Federation in late October 2021 following a vote started by the CSA.[9] The vote was called due to repetitive offensive comments made by the leader of the South Augusta, notably on the subject of transgender people.

Kaltsburg

Kaltsburg, previously a Consortium (Associate) Member[10] was expelled from the Federation in late September 2021[11] due to its inactivity.

Invoked section A.6

Members of the Augustan Federation can invoke section A.6 of the charter of the Augustan Federation, which allows any member state to unilaterally exit the Federation at any time.[1]

Gabon

Gabon invoked section A.6 of the AF charter on November 23, 2021[12] due to the perceived lack of transparency, democracy and neutrality. AF President RedDevel wished Gabon much success despite this.

Lusitania

Lusitania invoked section A.6 of the AF charter on December 4, 2021 due to "clear disagreements on topics raised recently",[13] chief of which was the AF's lack of response to Yodabird's stone bombing of a innocent nation[citation needed] for which he paid 32 diamonds[citation needed] in reparations and faced no other consequences, which went against Lusitania's core ideals and beliefs.
