mummybundles (aka "mummy") is an oldfriend with a long history of international trade and grand build projects. First beginning their civ career in the summer of 2014, they became a citizen of the DZF cities of New Danzilona and Aegina, which they remained throughout all periods of activity in the two cities until the end of Civcraft 2.0. Mummy followed their fellow Danzilonans and lived in Nova Danzilona on Civcraft 3.0, but when the server ended and a succeeding iteration of Danzilona was not founded, mummy found their home in the SPQR on both CivClassic 2.0 and CivRealms 2.0. They were a founder of both iterations, ran several provinces, and was a Senator for years at a time.

Biography

Civcraft 2.0

NDZ's Central Station, built in large part by mummy and designed by coolyellow from Churchill

mummy joined New Danzilona- their first Minecraft multiplayer experience- on July 6, 2014.[1] They soon found enjoyment in being a buildfriend, frequently helping repair factories and spearheading the construction of NDZ's new Central Station.[2] Throughout their time exploring and gathering materials for builds, mummy soon found a niche in being an international trader, becoming an active user of the CivExchange subreddit and spending most of their remaining time on the server travelling and trading.[3] After spending a lot of time in Fellowship's Hexagon marketplace, they became a citizen of the city in September 2014.[4]

In October 2014, mummy became an Infrastructure Representative for New Danzilona, helping newfriends and new shop keepers set up home in the city.[5]

In November, under the reign of Aegina's dictator Sourdust, mummy became a citizen and helped build Aegina's grand mall and factories. When activity fell in the city following the departure of Sourdust and the end of the second phase of the Aeginan independence movement, mummy remained the sole citizen of the city (which then became a territory of NDZ) until the end of the server.

Throughout 2015, mummy worked on building NDZ's new, grand Central Station, which hosted both international and intracity rail lines. mummy became NDZ's foreign representative for November and December 2015, which was the same time that the Central Station was completed.[6]

Civcraft 3.0

mummy returned to 3.0 as a trader and builder, but was more hampered and less active this time around due to the more frequent land disputes among the nations of 3.0's relatively small shards. They were a citizen and founder of Nova Danzilona. Since most residents of Volans stayed in their resource-deficient homeland in contrast to mummy's international trade, it was estimated that mummy alone owned 75% of the shard's total wealth.[7]

CivClassic 2.0

mummy's home in the Roman city of Sofia, which he was the leader of.

In June 2017, mummy was a founder of the SPQR.[8]They were critical in setting up the initial food farms that the populace used while they built the rest of the city. After an official settlement was established, those farms became the town of Latifundia, which mummy remained in charge of. mummy was also the Prefect of the SPQR's first official settlement, Sofia, which was known for its large Pantheon and battle arena which mummy helped construct. mummy was a Senator in the imperial senate from Rome's founding until its migration to CivRealms 2.0 following the pearling of many of Rome's leaders in 2019 during the Infinity War.[9]

CivRealms 2.0

The founding of Rome on CivRealms 2.0 was similar to that of its CivClassic iteration; mummy was once again a founder and once again set up the crucial food farms that helped the rest of the population go on to build the city. mummy was initially a Senator before then becoming a Praetor. They slowly lost steam and stopped playing at the same time as everyone else on CivRealms did in early-mid 2021.[10]
