Background

Following The Columbian Bush War, tensions with NATO began to rise due to several incidents in the region. Varying from Hallow harboring the criminal GThomas4 who had assisted in Kdeeks failed coup. To NATO unexpectedly passing through the Valyrian City on combat alts in a show of power. The tensions finally reached a breaking point when Doommad and Kaloa_HG were attacked by Vespasian (A Hallow Fighter) in the Columbian city of Rotterdam while they were attempting to evacuate some newfriends. This demonstrated to Columbia that NATO now had control over Columbian groups resulting in massive deterioration for NATO relations. Later it was leaked that Shadedoom actively assisted The Coalition in breaking the Pinkerton Vault. At a later date, the UDF passed a vote to declare war on NATO therefore bringing Columbia into the Mir-NATO War.

First Wave of Attack

In the early morning hours of February 17th, Columbians awoke to discover that the Crucible vault in Valyria, which was under construction at the time, was heavily greifed by a Valyrian insider as well as Hantzu, Robokaiser, and Rixxlon. The grief was mainly within the northern rings, signaling to Shadedoom that a NATO attack from the north side was likely. The Columbians seeked immediate assistance from Coalition forces, which was recieved. Coalition forces assisted in cleaning up a small amount of the greif in order to bring the vault up to a semi-operational status. However, a large NATO group of about 13 men had begun making their way towards the vault in an attack tunnel. They penetrated the vault wall and made their way around the main structure. At this point in time, the majority of Coalition Forces involved were trapped inside. However, Mir Team 6 was contacted, and began logging in. NATO forces seeing Mirian forces logging in immediately retreated. A fatal mistake that resulted in NATO completely losing the battle that ensued.

Mir and Entente to the Rescue!

Mirian and Entente forces hastily made their way towards Columbia as NATO provided an open window to support the vault. It is assumed that NATO was likely regrouping and preparing for the ensuing defense force. However, whilst NATO spent time regrouping, Coalition forces from within the vault were able to finish cleaning up sky defenses as well as a small section in the ground bunker. Mirian and Entente forces arrived and got to work. Pots were brewed, Armor was passed around, and the Coalition prepared for the ensuing combat.

The Final Defense of The Crucible

With Coalition forces regrouped and prepared for the next attempt to penetrate the vaults defenses, they began building a wall to halt the NATO ground tunnel. However, during the construction of this, KnotNSA who was scouting for the next ground attack reported that NATO had placed a city bastion and begun creating a new ground tunnel. Immediately Coalition forces dug in and prepared to block up the ground tunnel. Initially progress was slow, but soon NATO was in sight. A separate group successfully popped the NATO city bastion and the Coalition moved in. A Coalition force of about 16 men began moving into the NATO tunnel, placing snitches and blocking up the NATO tunnel with obsidian. NATO was pushed back about 100 blocks before they finally halted the Coalition advance. NATO attempted to push the Coalition forces back up the tunnel back into the vault, but failed. Resulting in one of their fighters, BobTheBuIlder getting trapped, and pearled by Coalition fighters. The Coalition pulled back, storing the pearl within the Crucible. With NATO morale crushed by one of their own being pearled, NATO pulled out of the region. Leaving the Coalition to clean up the mess they left behind.
