The Olympics are a recurring international gathering where players compete in minigames for medals. The event is loosely modelled after the real-life Olympic Games. Each had multiple nations compete and saw a multitude of athletic and non-athletic events held, for friendly international competition.

The First Olympics on CivClassic 2.0 were held in Yoahtl across five evenings from in June 2018. Olympics occurred regularly through 2019 in The Commonwealth[1], Gensokyo[2] and Mount Augusta[3][4]. During this time, the Olympics was run by an international organization that selects each location for every Olympics games.[5]

The Olympic Committee announced Columbia was set to host the Fifth (V) Olympic Games in January 2020,[6] however due to the outbreak of the Columbian Bush War the Olympics were announced to be postponed, they eventually hosted the sixth Olympics instead.[7][8]

A Fifth Olympics would be hosted in Icenia independent of the Olympic Committee in June 2021.[9]

The first Olympic games on CivMC were the Nara-Danzilona Olympics, held between the 10th and 12th of March, 2023.[10][11]

So far, during CivClassics there have been six Olympic Games, all set in different nations. The first four Olympic Games were organized in association with the Olympic Committee created by WackyAki and Feathercrown of Yoahtl. The committee planned to have Columbia host the fifth Olympic Games, however due to the outbreak of the Columbian Bush War and the involvement of the Infinity War this never happened. Icenia organized the Fifth Olympics themselves in May 2021 without the Olympic Committee's involvement but has been widely regarded as the successor of the Olympic Games in CivClassic. Columbia were finally able to run an Olympics, hosting the sixth and last Olympics on CivClassics, independent of the Olympic Committee, not long before the server was shut down.[7]
