The War of the Icenian Coalition is an ongoing war on CivMC. It was declared by Icenia and Yoahtl on the 8th December 2023 in response to alleged leaks from the Gang Shi discord that claimed Gang Shi intended to eventually go to war with the two in order to establish dominance over the server

Course of the War

On 8th December 2023, on the anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl harbour and also he insiding of The Crucible on Civclassic, Icenia launched an attack on Gang Shi's main pearl holding vault. A Reddit post was made, claiming that Icenian and Yoahtl fighters had disabled the vault with the help of an unnamed insider

Reactions

On the 8th December, a poll was created on Reddit asking which side they supported in the war. Allegations of Gang Shi members bottling the poll were made. As of 10:0l0 GBT time on the 9th December, 54% of voters supported Icenia and Yoahtl, 25% Gang Shi ( believed to be lower, somewhere around 20-15%) and 21% supported neither side of the war
