History
Formation
Upon hearing of Shadedoom's idea for a civ server modelled after old civclassic, ComradeRick began recruiting his former comrades and friends such as ImperatorMendes (Career adinan bureaucrat), Avo (founder of Nro'meagh, culture maker extraordinaire), Topher3001, and Gordona22, leader of CivRealms' Imperial Federation, among others such as TheYodelingDwarf and ComradeNick.
Brought together by unwavering jadedness and the desire to be civ boomers free from idiotic conflict, the quickly written constitution was modeled around their desires, with the only extra citizenship requirements being not having outside citizenships before becoming a UJSR citizen and the lack of a history of acting like a stooge. As the beta drew nearer, and the discord got some advertising, various people from CivRealms joined both CivLegacy and the UJSR, particularly from the IWW in the latter case.
As the initial documents were completed, plans for the beta came about, with many citizens pitching ideas for their primary city. Some suggested something modelled after Pacem, while others suggested something closer to a city in ruins, rife with vegetation.

As the UJSR was brought together by the unwavering jadedness of its constituents in regards to the strife of both CivClassic and CivRealms, a core tenet of local culture is the desire to grill and build in peace, away from the stupidity of others. As such while politics do exist internally, the community is more focused on benefiting the collective and an internal focus.
