History
The country is a continuation of the previous state of Bergburg after circumstances led to an exodus from Impendia: The Great Burgtrek. Neubergburg negotiated a solution to a claims dispute with the Boreal Federation in late October 2022. It also claimed the eastern portion of the former nation of Bagalor at the same time.
As of Feburary 5th, 2023, Neubergburg's borders are closed to non-citzens with the exception of the citizens of the friendly nations listed below. This status is due to an attempted incursion by hostile foreigners.
Geography
Neubergburg is mainly mountainous and taiga biomes. A long river (dubbed the Donau River) runs through much of the territory, and gives the nation an outlet to the ocean. The nation's neighbors are Lethe to the north, Winterbourne to the east, the Temporal Isles to the south, and DonFuer to the west.
