This is a list of civ servers that are confirmed to be in development, or being worked on in some way but are yet to have a full release.

CivMC

CivMC is being developed by a team of Wingzero54, Ahrimanne, SoundTech and BlueSylvaer, it is planned to be run on Minecraft 1.18 and they've referred to it having an "alpha testing phase" at some point.[1] Little about the server has been announced.

CivReign

CivReign is ran by a team of KannonKyleLead, Orinnari and Cortwade that was announced on reddit in November 2021.[2] Regular development posts are given on their subreddit /r/CivReign/ and they can also be contacted on their discord https://discord.gg/2uEkHKQ8Hy. A closed alpha is planned to start on the 22nd of January 2022.[3]

CivPortals

CivPortals is planned to be a modded 1.12.2 server mainly based on the Terracotta Dimensions Mod, it is being developmed by SinjoroJoCrafter.[4] There's a public discord at https://discord.gg/zUSu8n6rSh.

CivUniverse 2.0

The second CivUniverse iteration is being worked on by ian_X12. CivU has a website civuniverse.com/, a subreddit /r/CivUniverse/ and a discord https://discord.gg/bDDuHVat4j.Ian has talked about the work to update plugins to 1.17 and that the new server "will include elements of nationbuilding not seen on prior iterations".[5]

Vintage Civ 1.0

Vintage Civ is a server planned to be on Vintage Story instead of Minecraft and is run by SouthernBloc with helpers such as Novocain, MarkAFK, Pkeod, ProgrammerDan and SimpleBastard. It is currently running an open beta that is expected to last 4-6months.[6] There is a website www.vintageciv.com/, a subreddit /r/vintageciv/ and a discord https://discord.gg/yTHx4MpXdP.

CivEternals

CivEternals is a server that Eckie plans to release on 1.12.2 with 1.8 pvp. An open beta was originally meant to be released in November but was repeatedly pushed back.[7] The official discord is at https://discord.gg/vAfUgYfMmV.
