Butternut County was a nation on CivMC located on the Western Continent and neighboring the nations of Icenia, Estalia, and Pacem. Founded on July 17th, 2022, the nation was created via a declaration of independence from the nation of Rhode Island.[1] On August 10th, 2022, the nation annexed Fellowship.[2] Two weeks later, on August 24th, 2022, Butternut absorbed The Enclave.[3] The nation is home to The Daily Nut, a state newspaper with Mount Augustan ComradeNick under their employ.
It was engaged in The War of Grievances against the Security Enhancement Coalition. Butternut would fall after ComradeNick's insiding of Nuthole I in support of the Dawn Guard Pact during the Grasslands Gambit.
