The Principality of Transylvania is a nation based off the historical region of Transylvania. Transylvania was changed from a republic to a constitutional monarchy under a referendum held by Xa_n.
Sovereignty
On October 22, 2023, Transylvania was peacefully integrated into the state of Kaowta, a nation that historically the Kaowtans had animosity with. The integration was short lived, however, and on December 1st, 2023, President Xa_n announced that Transylvania would once again become an independent nation, claiming that the integration was not the result of an informed choice made by the members of state and decried the former president, referring to him as disgraced and a traitor to the fundamental principles of Transylvania.[1] With the onset of the War of the Icenian Coalition, leaks by the Dawn Guard Pact alleged that the nation of Gang Shi had tampered with the electoral process of Transylvania in order to exert their influence on the continent of Alenarith, and namely Transylvania's neighbor, Nara.
