The Principality's territory is divided into three distinct classes as outlined by the Magna Pavia these are: Clergy, Crownland and Dukedoms. These classes administrate their own territories with full authority and cannot be superseded by another.
The Principality of Pavia is an elective monarchy, with the six Dukes of Pavia making up a royal court that convenes to elect the Crown Prince of Pavia through majority vote. The Crown Prince enjoys a wide breadth of powers domestically and abroad when representing the country on the international stage, with the head of state only being answerable to death whether it be natural or by assassination.
As of May 2022, the Crown Prince of Pavia is His Grace, BritishWanderer I, elected on the 30th of April 2022 by a vote of 4-2.
