The Liberty Party is a minor opposition political party in the Imperial Federation. It is run by long-time Godhaven Senator Tr1ckyD1ckNixon. The Liberty Party is generally considered to be right-wing, although its exact positions on issues are often vague. Its most pronounced views are abstentionism (refusing to vote on any bills unless of extreme relevance) and anti-Thorianism (opposing any relations with and supporting oppression of Thoria. The Liberty Party is the oldest active party in the Imperial Federation, being founded on September 28th, 2023, ahead of Tr1ckyD1ckNixon's run in the first Imperial Federation chancellor election. The Liberty Party continues to run candidates for parliament in each Imperial Federation parliament election, although it often has little success. In the first Imperial parliament election, two of its candidates, Aeromatic and Zwixxxy, were disqualified from running due to not having logged on in over 200 days. In the second Imperial parliament election, the party's candidate, Freeport Senator crazando, left the Imperial Federation right before the election began, claiming his free speech had been violated. Currently, its only representation in the Legislature of the Imperial Federation is Tr1ckyD1ckNixon's Senate seat in Godhaven. The Liberty Party is headquartered at Liberty Hall in Godhaven.
