God's Grove
God's Grove is a small settlement originally founded in CivTemp and once again in 3.0. It is found along the river in Tigrillo, just upstream (West) of Minyahutizin. It is currently a part of Yoahtl and has links dating to them since its creation. It is home to Arrakis Mining Inc., which is composed of Geniemadman, DJ_Khaled_Jetski and Maniacal_Monster. Operating by GMT hours, God's Grove is always looking for new members from Britain and abroad.
History

File:/3/places/godsgrovecivtempsteam.png God's Grove was initially founded in CivTemp in early March 2016. Originally started as a one man settlement in the desert of Gimmel, Geniemadman was soon joined by friends DJ_Khaled_Jetski and Maniacal_Monster. Together the three of them built up God's Grove into a scenic oasis in the desert. Since Astratlan was the nearest major settlement to God's Grove, ties were quickly established to Yoahtl. Geniemadman represented God's Grove as a senator in the Yoahtl Council for the duration of CivTemp.

File:/3/places/2016-09-13 16.14.45.png The members of God's Grove joined the new server relatively later than others, about two weeks after launch. They once again decided to join Yoahtl however wanted to live independently again and so they set up in a cove upstream of Minyahuitzan, not far from the gateway to Sheol. After they had settled the land was claimed by Myrador State and so God's Grove was absorbed into the state. However, for a number of reasons, the three residents did not stay there long and on 22/08/16 they moved downstream and settled in what was formerly known as Andromeda, a Yoahtlan city now abandoned by its residents. Arrakis Mining Inc. quickly renovated and redecorated the area, building upon the infrastructure left behind by the Andromedans. God's Grove is linked to Minyahuitzin by canal and road, whilst having the river also.
Religion
God's Grove follows the Wacah Chan branch of The Church of the World Tree. As is customary, the settlement is home to a Worship Tree, along with a small but functioning church. People of all faiths are welcome to pray there.
Economy
Arrakis Mining Inc.
Arrakis Mining is a corporation of the three members of God's Grove, and are willing to take up a variety of projects - from mining to demolition. In CivTemp they took a notable part in the development of the New Scandinavian Republic, located in Bet. Their most notable project was the establishment of an exclusion zone around the NSR and the building of a giant stone sarcophgus over the city after its abandonment.
Trading
God's Grove does not currently have any established trade practices, but in CivTemp God's Grove regularly traded resources across Gimmel and Bet, including Acacia Wood and Sand.
Government
CivTemp
In CivTemp God's Grove was ruled by an absolutist government, with Geniemadman taking sole control and representation of the settlement. During their time of close affiliation with the NSR, DJ_Khaled_Jetski was also involved in the NSR government.

Due to previous incidents, God's Grove is now run as a free council. Each member has full say and veto power over issues. At this moment God's Grove does not play an active part in the council of Yoahtl.
