Merchant; permitted to access Viridian and maintain a shop according to the relevant standards within Viridian’s borders, but not to maintain a residence, vote, or run for office. Merchants are subject to a profit-sharing agreement and Visitor’s Pass requirements. Visitor, permitted to access Viridian for the explicit purpose of visitation, communication, and tourism, as well as to make purchases at shops designated as accessible to Visitors.

Visitors are subject to a tribute fee and are expected to respect Viridian’s laws, as well as the laws of their home nation, while within our borders. Visitor passes may be suspended or revoked with reasonable cause by any Minister or the Chancellor.

Merchants are subject to the same fee, as well as a profit-sharing agreement negotiated between the Merchant and the Minister of Resource Management. Merchants’ shops should be set up at a location approved personally by the Minister of Infrastructure.

Article B:
Voting rights in Viridian mark the primary distinction between Full, Partial, and Probationary citizenship. Probationary citizens are expected to become Full citizens, have achieved the same standards set for Full citizens, but have been disallowed from participating in an in-progress or impending election process. Probationary citizens are heavily encouraged to involve themselves, support a candidate publicly, and learn how the process works. Citizens which achieve that status during the election cycle, or within 24 hours of the opening of the census will be considered Probationary.

Residents are citizens of other, allied nations with Viridian who have been allowed to live maintain a residence in Viridian OR a citizen who has otherwise failed to meet the standards of citizenship.
