It hasboasts a bustling economy and prioritizes art, community and security. Yoahtl is known for its bustling and livedlife in its walled capital city, called [[Altepetl]], where the strict [[dereliction]] policies and large apartments ensure that there are no useless buildings or spaces indeemed useless within the city.

The Alcuahtl is Yoahtl's highest executive official and head of state, and by tradition the Alcuahtl owns Yoahtl's discord server and namelayer groups. The council selects the Alcuahtl amongst the trusted citizens of Yoahtl, generally citizens who have been in Yoahtl for a really long time. Every two months a vote of confidence is held by the council to confirm or reject the Alcuahtl, with; the Alcuahtl generallymust rulingbe withan favorelected Councillor. If there is an egregious violation of law the Alcuahtl can be impeached by the council, and until the seat is refilled, the Deputy Alcuahtl steps in. The current Alcuahtl is [[NeoTide]].

The Deputy Alcuahtl is the Alcuahtl's second in command, filling in when the Alcuahtl is unavailable. Traditionally, the deputy Alcuahtl will serve as the Chieftan of Yoahtl, otherwise the cultural leader of Yoahtl. Most of the relationships between Yoahtl's citizens and government is maintained by the Deputy Alcuahtl, this includes intra-national homesteads and autonomous nations within Yoahtl and the government. The position of Deputy Alcuahtl is currently vacant following NeoTide's ascension to Alcuahtl.

In addition to the Alcuahtl, the nation is governed by elected councillors, the number of which varies depending on circumstance. Councillors are citizens periodically elected to their position and hold limited executive authority. The current councillors are [[MechanicalRift]], [[KingOfTheMochas]], [[Klari]], [[Feathercrown]], [[Scouter9001]], and [[Solitaire7]].

The OltolticOloltic is the primary Legislative body of Yoahtl, as citizens of Yoahtl are also the Oltoltic, any public proposals made require a huge amount of public support to pass. Two-thirds of the active citizenry of Yoahtl must vote in the affirmative for a public proposal in order for it to pass. For this reason, proposal law is held in the highest regard in Yoahtl. The council's law is also fairly highly regarded, but is also limited in what can be passed. Amendments to the charter require a proposal law to be passed, and 2/3rds of the council must be in agreement for there to be a declaration or war passed and for territorial acquisition. As a result of this, most of the councilors have responsibilities outside of the legislature. This includes bastion production, building dereliction, auditing, and public relations.
