Long Peace

The Long Peace was a worldwide political and military phenomenon on CivClassic 2.0. The term referred to the lasting reduction in interstate violence, and complete absence of world war, lasting from the end of the Infinity War in mid-2020 to the end of the server in December of 2021. The military quiet of the era was largely attributable to the Infinity War's Coalition (seen as one form of World Police), whose consistent global influence limited the proliferation of conflict.
