center+radius vs. rectangular box

Note that I plan on switching CCMap from using a circle (center+radius notation) to rectangle (NW+SE notation) at some point, at least internally. The existing center+radius links will remain usable but for some places it probably makes more sense to specify a rectangle than a circular/square area.

In addition, linking to a place by its identifier (id) also centers it on the screen and is future proof in case the place's size changes over time. Example: Ashelor
