With many of Venne's members returning from their inactivity at similar times, the decision was made to continue developing the nation elsewhere. Venera's harsh winter landscape, while certainly beautiful, ultimately proved too opressive to development. After some searching in early February of 2023, a suitable tract of land for a new capital was located on a large undeveloped island in the -,+. While the land was claimed by Leibniz Confederation, the complete absence of development prompted Venne leadership to pursue claiming it by developing the nation first, and then announcing its claim. During this period of "secret" development, the factory building, government building, the Sun pavilion, and the "Venera Calls" statue were constructed. When the nation of Warmia began to consider claiming some of Leibniz Confederation's land, the government of Venne took the opportunity to place diplomatic pressure on Okx to sell the island. On March 11, 2023, Shadowvdark officially met with Okx to purchase the island for one diamond. Shortly thereafter, the island was named VeneziaVenozia and declared the nation's new capital.
