The '''Basic Smelter''' and the '''Charcoal Maker''' are likely to be among the first factories to be included in any factory setup, this is because they allow for the fast, cheap and convenient production of stone, the most common reinforcement material, and charcoal, the fuel required to power all factories.

The XP Cauldron is the method for xp production on CivMC, with recipes that convert a variety of items (mostly crops) into xp bottles/blocks. The cauldron can be upgraded to allow for better rates and more recipes.

Produces [[Bastion|bastion blocks]], which provide protection against block placement and/or reinforcement in the area they are placed in. The recipe involves several intermediary components which are produced in other factories.

The [[Factory#Printing_press|Printing Press]] is a unique factory that allows for the copying of books and creation of secure notes.

The [[Factory#Compactor|Compactor]] is used for the transportation and storage of bulk goods, a stack of a given item (or 8 of a non-stackable item) can be compacted into a single item, and can later be decompacted to their original form at a compactor factory. Unlike other factories, no charcoal is consumed during this process.

A large set of factories are dedicated for the cheap bulk production of tools and armor, at 4 different tiers of materials (gold, iron, diamond and netherite).

 

Unlike other tools and armor factories, all items produced in the gold forge are given random high level enchantments at production.
