Sixteen days later, SpacemanSpleef was cleaning the discord and archived the g channel due to causing the G/J riots and "civil War". Civil unrest, lead by Skreaeyling and Mat(nicknamed to Jmat at the time), led to Spleef quickly, about an hour after archiving, unarchiving the g channel and making a j channel to hopefully please the people. Mat requested to know the legality of Spleef's actions from the Chief Justice.

Nearing the end of the 8th Election Cycle, the Senate of Acadia decided to seek joining the United Northern Congress. SpacemanSpleef, the MoFA at the time, reached out and got the vote started fairly quickly. Acadia joined as a member state of the [[United Northern Congress (New)|United Northern Congress]] on 30, November 2021.

One of the largest elections in a long time, [[Bloof]] came out of retirement to run for Minister of Foreign Affairs, her first election in about three months. Skyraeling ran for his third federal office, and failed for the third time. Tomattan ran for Minister of Interior, entering at the last moment. JuniorTide had originally pledged support for Spleef in the MoFA campaign, but changed his mind when he realize Bloof was running.
In the time leading up to the elections, the hottest topic of debate for the Minister of Foreign Affairs candiates was why should it be a ministry. Started by Chief Justice Aelfred, both parties were asked and gave a variety of answers including being a Yes man, representing the people's interests, and more. The other issue with the Minister of Foreign Affairs was the fact that the law creating the ministry '''could not be found to exist'''. It turned out that a law had been proposed and passed with one aye, and one abstain, and was never put into the record books.
