The '''Forum for International Diplomacy''' ('''FID''') is an intergovernmental organization that aims to foster international diplomacy, develop friendly relations among nations, and bring the international community together. The Forum operates on a consensus-based model, with a particular focus on promoting and supporting dialogue between its members.

The Forum was established during the [[NATO-Mir War]]. A drafting committee composed of drafters from multiple nations worked to create the Charter and the Standing Rules, which are used to guide effective discussion in meetings. The committee ensured that the basis of these documents was the supremacy of the Forum's members. The Charter also provides for members to pass resolutions, though these are non-binding and consequently not capable of compelling members to do or abstain from doing anything.

There are presently 47 members of the Forum. These members are classified into two categories: the ''founding members'' who ratified the treaty initially and ''general members'' who were admitted to the Forum under chapter 2. These latter members have been authorised by a resolution of at least 75% of the existing members.
