Panem
Panem, officially the State of Panem, is a semi-democratic meritocracy located in the +,+ quadrant east of Adina. Panem is ruled by the "Council of Panem," a group of five leaders who are considered the most active in the town. Currently, the five members are Thejmqn, JS2244, KittFoonya, sonop, and jonhalo. Panem is a friendly nation focused on making money and staying stable rather than going to war, and thus often focuses more on profits than military. Panem is open to all visitors and all new citizens.
History
Panem was founded on February 1, 2020 [1] by the Council of Panem listed above. Panem was originally going to be founded in the lands of the Don Republic; however, after realizing the land was owned by Adina, the Council left for a new location east of the River Panem. After much debate, it was decided Panem's capital city, Godhaven, would be founded at 5900, 3000. [2] The Council of Panem continued to expand Godhaven until it was noticed that there were two old cities in Panem's territory that could be improved upon. A railroad was quickly build to these new cities, which were named Breadville and Veria. These former cities were improved, and four new citizens joined Panem.
On March 1, 2020, the nation of Wydale was annexed by Panem after Meep, Wydale's leader, announced that he would be leaving the server and would his nation to Panem. [1] The new land proved to be very helpful to Panem, and New Wydale City became yet another city to improve upon. On March 9, 2020, the Republic of Adina gifted the beaches of Altava at the very north of Adina to Panem. Panem was very grateful for this gift. On March 12, 2020, Panem made one more expansion when it purchased the souther area of Armernia's southern island for a sum of diamonds. [3] A railroad is currently being constructed to the new lands north of the River Armenia.
