The country is a continuation of the previous state of [[Bergburg]] after circumstances led to an exodus from [[Impendia]]: ''The Great Burgtrek''. Neubergburg negotiated a solution to a claims dispute with the [[Boreal Federation]] in late October 2022. It also claimed the eastern portion of the former nation of [[Bagalor]] at the same time.
As of Feburary 5th, 2023, Neubergburg's borders are closed to non-citzens with the exception of the citizens of the friendly nations listed below. This status is due to an attempted incursion by hostile foreigners.
Neubergburg is mainly mountainous and taiga biomes. A long river (dubbed the ''Donau River'' runs through much of the territory. The nation's neighbors are [[Lethe]] to the north, [[Winterbourne]] to the east, the [[Temporal Isles]] to the south, and [[DonFuer]] to the west.▼
