Modpacks are collections of mods put into a package that players

Modpacks (short for mod packages, or modification packages) are packages of mods. Virtually all modpacks use mods created for the Java Edition. Civ Servers often have modpacks created by the community.

This page serves as a list of modpacks that are currently in use or have been in use for Civ Servers and how to install them

Modpack Launchers

Vanilla Launcher is the hardest method. You can install a Modloader and install every mod you want one by one.

CurseForge is the most popular modding platform. It is free and easy to host and distrubute your minecraft modpack. You can also package private modpacks as .zip files to distrbute

Modrinth is a newer launcher that has less modpacks but is more stable and preferred by developers.

MultiMC is a customizable launcher that allows you to have multiple, cleanly separated instances of Minecraft with their own mods, worlds etc..

CivPack

Originally based on a private modpack. CivPack is hosted on CurseForge and has 47 mods to improve the gameplay experience. The pack is still being actively maintained.
