On CivCubed, metals are distinct to certain regions of the map. Progressing in the tech tree requires combining metals into an alloy.

Metals

Sapphire is found in the North, and is used for crafting Demonite.

Orichalcum is found in the +,+, and is used for crafting Entschlosenite.

Sulfur is found in the North, and is used for crafting Manyullyn.

Gold is found in the +,+, and is used for crafting Gilded Iron and mechanical items.

Iron is a material found in the +,+, and is used for crafting Gilded Iron and mechanical items.

Alloys

Gilded Iron is an alloy crafted from Iron and Gold. It is used for crafting Redsteel.
