It is a spiritual successor to the [[Confederation of Cities Communes and Protectorates|CCCP]] from [[CivClassic|CivClassics]], with its founders also including those from [[Carson (CivClassic)|Carson]], [[Provincia]], and [[Mount Augusta (CivClassic)|Mt. Augusta]]. Originally founded as the democratic socialist city-state of Merthyr, the country adopted a tribal constitution on December 18, 2021. Similar to the nation of [[Nro'meagh]], a number of autonomous tribes all form one civilization, but so far only one tribe, the Mery, exists.
