Holy Tree iswas a nation in the shallow +,+ quadrant, 1500 blocks east of Mount Augusta. It iswas the oldest city still active in the region, and can look back on an eventful history. It iswas well-connected to the local road network, and functions as the region's rail hub. It iswas a member of the [[groups/alliances/u3p|U3PUnited Provinces of the Plus Plus]].

Holy Tree iswas ruled by the Leader of Holy Tree, who iswas elected and supervised by the Council of Holy Tree. The Council consistsconsisted of three permanent officials, as well as four elected representatives, for a total of seven. The Leader appointsappointed ministers to help him oversee his numerous tasks.
 
Districts electelected their own Mayor and enjoy local autonomy. The Mayors electelected two representatives to the Council.
 
Colonies arewere supervised by their Governors, appointed by the Leader. The Governors electelected a representative to the Council.
