The '''Doom City Conflict''' was a conflict initiated on [[CivMC]], having begun on December 12th, 2023 and ended on December 19th, 2023. The initial conflict was sparked due to a disagreement over the [[Mount Augusta|Mount Augustan]] nether portal, formerly belonging to Cortesia Del Mar and [[Mehri]]. Following disagreements between [[Doom City]] and [[Mount Augusta]] over the portal, members of [[Doom City]] ([[Laconia|Laconians]]) raided and stole from [[Arsenia|Arsenia's]] factory bunker and [[Arsenia|Arsenia's]] Birmingham Bunker, eventually resulting in [[SymSquid]] being pearled by [[SQOpenSpellBook]]. <ref name=":2">https://www.reddit.com/r/CivMC/comments/18jditn/gloom_city/</ref> On December 19th, the conflict escalated significantly at the border between [[Mount Augusta]] & [[Doom City]] when [[Laconia|Laconian]] fighters disabled a bunker being built on the [[Mount Augusta|Mount Augustan]] border, causing a bowfight between SQOpenSpellbook and the present Laconians. They would then enter Mount Augusta to "[place] an obsidian wall on [their] plot [as a] defensive measure" <ref name=":4" /> before additional BUILD fighters arrived and they would retreat.
