AncapMinecraft

I saw a post for /r/AncapMinecraft in /r/Anarcho_Capitalism and decided to join. I played around for a bit in Chxville back when the world was young and diamonds infinite. I became frustrated with the drama concerning a grinder that had been constructed near the LSIF and quit playing until shortly after the release of Civcraft 1.0.

Civcraft 1.0

For a time I walked amongst the living in Columbia and Rothbard, but got frustrated with the drama and shitposting going on. Like a complete idiot I decided that the solution to drama was to play multiplayer singleplayer and boat far off north in the seemingly endless ocean. I went to extreme lengths to hide my base and to this day can't find it in the Civcraft 1.0 map release. Predictably, I got bored and left. I followed the subreddit on an old lurker account but didn't follow it that much. I had later heard about the HCF invasion and the upcoming map reset and followed the CivTest events, but never really regained interest.

Civcraft 2.0

By the time I regained interest in Civcraft the community had become radically different. It was late September - early October 2013 that I returned to join Civcraft 2.0. I spawned not too far from Aytos, gathered what food I could, and made a grave for a friend of mine (Rest in peace). I passed through Aytos and somehow made it to Valhalla where I did manual labor digging out a couple of the towers for Deftinhawk. I gathered my 33ish diamond blocks of precious wealth and for a brief period experienced a lack of optimal brain function. I would become a hermit again! I, again, made an ocean base that is still undiscovered, but remembered to save a waypoint for it.

Eventually, I decided that I would join the rest of the Anarcho-Capitalist community. I left my base and went back to Valhalla and from there to Haven and Orion. It was a big world to me at the time and I was eager to explore it and find the Ancap communities. Surely, there would be numerous such communities! I took the rail from Orion to Commonwealth and was greeted by the numerous denziens in the vast jungle such as Peter5930. I would join them in mumble and eventually discover the sorrow fate of the Ancaps. Disinterest had caused many of them to leave and though there were a few Ancaps left over, most were gone and there were no communities for us.

I looked for any communities that would at the very least not have much of a government and opted to join Bryn. It was a long journey, but I made it there. It didn't really seem active and I wasn't aware at the time of the reputation of the city. I setup an ugly obsidian tower north east of Bryn, but before I could complete it I discovered a post by Treverend in /r/Civcraft advertising the city New Covenant in the Metropolis (Deep -,-). New Covenant was a Christian Anarchist city, a city for all anarchists regardless of persuasian. I rushed over there in mid to late October 2013 and have resided there. I spent most of my time exploring after moving and enjoyed my times in the Aurora mumble channels with Hummelwagen, Taargus, Dr_Oracle, and many others. I offered what advice I could on completely privatizing the city of Aurora through a careful transitioning process.

It was not until mid November that I returned to New Covenant to find it in a bit of a rough spot activity wise. Ever since then I have been devoting my time and resources to revitalizing the city.
