Founded on the first day of 2.0 by Simbarabbit1 and Fellowship9, The city quickly grew in the following weeks. After announcing its coords early on, the city has attracted much greifer attention since its founding, but has weathered it all with the help of its allies. Hobbiton and its citizens have been instrumental in the advancement of the -,+ quadrant, building roads between cities to a degree no other quadrant has matched, mapping the land, opening up trade, and offering food and shelter to any peaceful players who need it. Hobbiton enjoyed good relations with its close neighbor [[Lio]], which eventually subsumed the land of Hobbiton after a period of decay due to frequent acts of lavabombing.
