Omen

Omen is not a city. It's guardians care not for the perpetual and desparate cycle of resident aquisition, nor for the quest to become celebrated. Omen is a Facility, a lost world monolith with the intent to cultivate productivity, cultural services and legacerial archives.

Founding

When Aytos fell, I wandered. I wandered for so long, without a home, without a purpose. I moved in circles, and wrote empty promises. Nothing was meaningful, nothing was worthwhile. The hollow men would make a spectacle of me for their crumbling empires.

And then I saw it. The vision lay everything out in front of me, the paths stretching miles and weeks into the future. I saw a strange terraced city climbing into the sky, foreboding and looming with intent. It was a sign, it was Omen.

And when my mind became reality, the project began.

Layout

Omen is arranged as a square spiral of terraces. Of these, 32 are the same size with a primary terrace in the middle at the highest point. An ascending road winds around the core of the terraces from the base to the apex.

Current Terraces in use:

  • T7 Storage
  • T8-T9 Reed Plantations
  • T13 Mining Bank
  • T22 Maester Assembly Building
  • T24 Omen Dive Company

Wild Acacia Trees and Blue Orchids grow across the vacant terraces.

Governance
