The Bryn Metropolitan Area is a metropolitan area consisting of the City State of Bryn, its suburbs Coldrock, Puerto Angel, and Azalea, and the Vrystaat Historical Site, which includes the Grundeswegian city of Old Salisbury and Camp Beige. The term was coined by Greenble10 of Bryn on November 22, 2014. The area's political and economic center is Bryn.

Bryn is the core city of the Metropolitan Area. It is by far the most influential and rich city in the region, and also the oldest. Bryn has directed its region as Coldrock was founded under the guidance of Geohash and Azalea under the guidance of Greenble10.
Puerto Angel

Puerto Angel began off as an independent city, later becoming absorbed into the Bryn Metropolitan Region holding buffer land due to it's dependence upon Bryn and relative inactivity. It is the oldest of the suburbs, and contains a small number of Bryn's amenities including animal farms, smaller vaults and being a staging area for inter-regional travel. For the most part, the suburbs are quiet and lonely. The city is linked to Bryn and Remnant via the IIC.
Coldrock

Coldrock was founded by a number of exiled criminals and griefers from Iria, growing to become a small suburban community of 5.
Azalea
Founders: Jagerex, B1ackOfKnight, BeefiestGoose3, ThePrussian101, and Xelkan4
Date Founded: November 23rd, 2014
Azalea is a new town under construction on an island south of Bryn proper. Its origins started as a misunderstanding. Someone told B1ackOfKnight, Jagerex, and ThePrussian101 that Vrystaat was abandoned and up for grabs, not realizing that not only was it already claimed, but it was the current The Global Historical Conservation Society restoration project. They worked there for two days until Greenble10 found what they were doing and got upset. At first, B1ackOfKnight and Jagerex bargained to stay in Old Salisbury, but Greenkitten convinced them to leave. They apologized and helped fix what they changed. After, Greenble10 assisted them find a new island for their city and market plans. After touring 2 possible locations, they decided on an island just off the southern coast of the Bryn mainland. They will start construction soon.
