The [[CivClassics Shutdown|'''CivClassics Shutdown''']] was an era on CivClassics[[CivClassic 2.0]] lasting from the 8th - 18th December, 2021.<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/civclassics/comments/rc370p/through_the_roof_n_underground/</ref> It brought much chaos as nations and individuals alike acted upon their long-held grudges, with many also griefing randomly in an initial nihilistic fervor, including [[Pearled Harbor]]. Yet, it would also bring peace in the server's final moments, with many from opposing "sides" of Classics' political landscape bridging the artificial gaps between them and coming together as a whole, recollecting their shared experiences as a community rather than as a collection of fragmented groups.
