SUMMARY
First, and physically largest of the *chan cities, Viridian, boasts a large urban sprawl, and memories of when it was filled with 90 people daily. Unfortunately it, along with its sister city The International Islamic Republic of Intis, suffered a large population drop in the later months of 2014. Now the large sprawl makes the city appear deceptively empty as its active core of citizens is much smaller than the building count.
ANSCHLUSS
Under the diarchy of HanTzu and Kovio, Viridian saw massive annexation of neighboring territories, including Intis, Clacton, the foundation of the colony of Akihabara, and the acquisition of Titan. This period of growth was ended when HanTzu dissolved the Diarchy and became sponge-master of Titan. Soon after Polynesia would unofficially annex the city, leaving signs throughout.
