There shall be an office of Secretary of Defense to be voted in for a two month term by the Senate. The Secretary of Defense must be a citizen of any member nation of the United Provinces. The office of Secretary of Defense shall execute the directives of the Senate regarding defense. Before April 2014 the Secretary of Defense was hand appointed by the Secretary General. In December 2015 the title of the office was changed by popular vote to "Guardian of the Peace". |
