United Defensive Front: Difference between revisions

Despite a desire among UDF members for neutrality and expansion after the War of the Coalition, it was soon discovered that NATO, instead of turning over the pearls of several of the escaped Ransakisanis, had taken them in. As a direct result of this, many member states of the UDF, especially Columbia, sent PvPers to the Pinkerton Vault Break. After NATO discovered this, the UDF voted for official entry into the [[Infinity War]] and proceeded to break [[Corvus]] later in February along with Entente and [[Mir|Mirian]] PvPers. After the breaking of Corvus, the UDF settled into a long siege in the city of Valyria where NATO forces attempted to take the Crucible, the main vault of Columbia. During this siege, the cities of Rotterdam, Polska, and Valyria were all heavily damaged and the region became a wasteland with NATO forces occupying Polska until a skybridge was built into the territory and traps were disabled. In the summer of 2020, the war finally picked back up again with the UDF participating heavily in the cracking of Hallow's vault alongside Mirrian, Entente, and select SATO fighters. The UDF would ultimately see the war to its bitter end when, almost exactly one year after its founding, it helped crack Best Western, Vault 76, and the next day "Litterbox", thus ending the war.
