== Background and War ==
Columbia, and old nation from previous iterations, moved to Realms through securing a stretch of coastline from the nation of [[Moloka]]. In the following weeks, Columbia conducted itself in means which its neighbors determined to be aggressivethreatening. This first emerged during a partition of ICOR land, where the leader of Columbia was aggressive in his requests for land. He posted maps over claiming his neighbors and sending plans for a "Gran Columbia". This, compounded with a dispute with the Romans over bastions led to the multilateral decision to invade. A formal declaration of war was posted to the subreddit, and the leader of Columbia was pearled in his bunker. The invasion was controversial, and many countries<ref>[https://www.reddit.com/r/CivRealms/comments/gh0029/the_duckapore_ministry_of_basic_human_decency/ "The Duckapore Ministry of Basic Human Decency publicly states that the invasion of Columbia is unjust..."]</ref><ref>[https://old.reddit.com/r/CivRealms/comments/gh0029/the_duckapore_ministry_of_basic_human_decency/fq5p7bq/ Christianada Leader Gus_was_here: "FreeColumbia"]</ref> objected to the war, considering there to be insufficient grounds for attack. A guerilla war was waged with some international support, but the Romans called in the help of some members of [[Savaguard]]. After a second decisive battle and the pearling of the remaining Columbians, the treaty was signed and the territories were incorporated into the Roman Empire.
