It was conceived in June 2017 as a cooperation between Hjaltland and Impasse to create a quick and convenient connection between Hjaltland, Impasse, and the Commonwealth which were the most influential cities on the [[Geographical Regions|Western Hemicircle]] at the time and also conveniently aligned. Most of the track north of Westminster has been built by workers from TdC, the southern diagonal was built by Hjaltland.
Late in its life, it was integrated into the [[KANI]], although it could still be used without requiring the KANI for some destinations.
