The Grand Imperium occupied onea ofvery thelarge largest expansesarea of unclaimed land on the map, a desolate island plateau of snowy highlands and forbidding sea-cliffs located in the eastern -,- quadrant. The Grand Imperium’s core territory was divided into two peninsulae: the southern peninsula, pierced with an inland sea, was home to Capitum, whereas the northern peninsula was occupied by Altton.

The Grand Imperium was located between the powers of [[Bloom]], [[Corvus]], and [[Tel Aviv]]. Although the Grand Imperium station has been under construction, the Grand Imperium had installed provisional rail links with Bloom and [[Frostrock]]. Relations between the Grand Imperium and other nations had been generally cordial, though the Grand Imperium had not held formal alliances with any nations.
