[[File:PrussianClaims.jpg|alt=|thumb|500x500px|An overview of the Prussian lands with Sigmaringen peninusla in the bottom left]]
The Sigmaringen peninsula features several shallow sandy banks along its coasts, making for easy polder building. The eastern sandy bank was turned into a sizable farming and flower polder in the first week in order to gain more land and resources for further construction. The peninsula also featured numerous pointy outcroppings made of dirt and stone, which were termed "[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menhir Hinkelsteine]". The outcroppings were not large enough to build upon but were a slight nuisance during the ongoing construction of Sigmaringen. One solution to the problem was to use the major ring of outcroppings in the center of the peninsula as a "tub", flood the space between them with water, which was in turn turned to stone by dumping lava on it, layer by layer. This turned the tub of outcroppings into a single, monolithic plateau upon which [[Sigmaringen Castle]] is being constructed. Several original outcroppings still remain on the peninsula and are under the strict protection of the [[Freunde der preußischen Landschaft und vorpreußischen Bauten e.V., (FdpLuvBeV) (''Fellows of the Prussian Landscape and Pre-Prussian Constructs, Org.'')|Freunde der preußischen Landschaft und vorpreußischen Bauten e.V., (FdpLuvBeV) (<nowiki>''</nowiki>Fellows of the Prussian Landscape and Pre-Prussian Constructs, Registered Organisation.<nowiki>''</nowiki>)]]. Despite being mostly a forest biome, vegetation was sparse upon settlement. An artificial forest was planted, covering most of the unfarmed and unused land along the peninsula. The expansion of the forest to the mainland is being considered.

=== Neighbors ===
Formally, Prussia is within the lands of [[Gensokyo]], where the bulk of its territory lies north and northwest of Prussia. Gensokyo's capital city of [[Gensokyo|Taozi]] is approximately two kilometers northwest of [[Sigmaringen]]. Directly south of Sigmaringen, across the bay, is the country of [[Verda]] with its towns of [[Sovia]], [[Verda|Craiggrad]], [[Verda|Heinlau]], and [[Crowsroost]], all of which are easily accessible by road or boat. The [[Omerican_Federal_Republic|Omerican Federal Republic]] lies east of Little Prussia and the territory of [[Eclipse|Panem]] a bit to the west over the bay.
