'''The Newfriend Development Initiative''' is a military and economic alliance started by [[Partyland]]. It was originally called SUS and was considered no more than a meme. However after positive reception from newfriend nations regarding the alliance, the heads of the alliance decided to use it as an opportunity to build up and protect newfriends. After a majority vote, the name was changed to NDI. After Partyland dissolved on the 17th of November 2021, Äggland and Buckeye became the last two original members of the alliance.

=== Present ===

The NDI is set up with two chambers, filled with the leaders of the nations within the alliance. The Administrative chamber is the Upper Chamber, and is made up of more established and experienced players and nations in the alliance. Qualification for the Administrative chamber is being a semi-developed nation and the leader(s) being on the server for at least 5 months. The Lower Chamber consists of the rest of the nation leaders.

The structure is to help bring in more experienced nations and give them more decision making power in the alliance, along with providing newfriend nations the ability to grow both as a nation and expand diplomatically.
